NASSAU, BAHAMAS — The Organization for Accountable Governance (ORG) has named Hubert Edwards to head its economics committee.
A management consultant at Next Level Solutions, Edwards is a former senior banking executive, lead auditor and regulatory consultant with one of the nation’s leading accounting firms, and a lead bank examiner with the Central Bank. of the Bahamas.
He is a member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (UK); member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica; a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS); Fellow of the Bahamas Institute of Chartered Accountants (BICA); and holds an MBA with honors from the University of Manchester. He also holds an LLB with first class honors from Huddersfield University.
Matt Aubry, executive director of ORG Bahamas, said his team was thrilled to have Edwards on board.

A regular contributor to newspapers and topical discussions on several media platforms, Edwards has also lectured on several topics including risk management, anti-money laundering, compliance and corporate governance.
He is a media practitioner and an engaging and transformational Certified John Maxwell Team Speaker, Coach and Trainer and a member of the Florida Speakers Association, specializing in leadership training and coaching.
