KSU economist to discuss East Cobb economic forecast

Dr. Roger Tutterow, professor of economics at Kennesaw State University, will discuss the economic forecast for the East Cobb area on March 29 at a Chamber of Commerce East Cobb Area Council luncheon.

Tutterow is Chief Economic Advisor for Henssler Financial and Director of the Econometric Center at Coles College of Business at KSU.

He has also served as an economic advisor to former Georgia governors and current Governor Brian Kemp.

Its appearance comes as inflation hit a 40-year high in the Atlanta metro area. Costs of fuel, food, energy and other basics have risen by an average of nearly 10% over the past year, according to consumer price index from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics.

The East Cobb Area Council lunch begins at noon on March 29 at the Indian Hills Country Club (4001 Clubland Drive). Tickets are $30 for Cobb Chamber members and $40 for general admission.

Registration is open until March 24 and can be completed by clicking here.
