19th Annual Ontario Economic Summit Highlights Strategies to Support the Province’s Growth

TORONTO – September 22, 2022 – Today, the Ontario Chamber of Commerce (OCC) announced the exciting in-person return of its annual flagship event, the Ontario Economic Summit (OES). In his 19e year, the OES will take place on November 22 and 23, 2022 at the Fairmont Royal York in Toronto. This year’s theme is Building Ontario’s Growth Agenda, and sessions will explore innovative strategies to support Ontario’s growth, resilience and competitiveness.

“The COVID-19 pandemic and resulting economic crisis has created an unstable environment for Ontario businesses and exacerbated inflation, labor shortages and supply chain challenges. Ontario will need to balance short-term demands with the need for long-term strategic investments in economic growth to compete on the world stage,” added Rossi.
For the past 19 years, the OES has brought together leaders from business, labor, academia, the not-for-profit sector and government to shape Ontario’s public policy agenda and strengthen the economy. of Ontario.
